Moresi.com attended one of the most important events for Microsoft’s partners and customers in Switzerland. Buzzwords: security and artificial intelligence.

Last March 8, the Moresi.com team attended the Microsoft Ignite Switzerland 2024 in Zurich. The event, which brought together more than 1,300 Microsoft customers and partners, was a great opportunity to fully immerse oneself in the latest innovations and best practices in technology.

Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, opened the day by sharing Microsoft’s vision and mission to enable every individual and organization on the planet to achieve increasingly significant results. She emphasized Microsoft’s central role as a trusted partner for digital transformation in Switzerland.

Next, Andy Elder, CVP Microsoft Solutions, touched on the relevant topic of cybersecurity in the digital world, focusing on innovative and integrated solutions to protect customers’ data, identities, and infrastructure. He presented concrete examples of how Microsoft can now assist customers in preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber threats, thanks in part to AI.

There were numerous in-depth sessions, particularly on topics such as Business Application & Power Platform, Modern Work, Security, Infrastructure, Data, AI & App Innovation. The sessions we attended provided a broad technical overview of future developments, with examples placed in various business scenarios.

«Microsoft Ignite Switzerland 2024 was a special opportunity to connect with the Microsof communityt – says Marco Cataldi, Head of MS Solutions di Moresi.com -. We were able to see directly how many companies are making large investments in generative AI and how many are already experiencing it successfully using, for example, Microsoft 365 Copilot. However, we are only at the beginning; the potential for creating innovation through AI is enormous, but it is yet to be discovered and exploited».
