Yesterday the event “ Microsoft and Digital Transformation in Switzerland”, organized by Moresi.com in collaboration with Ated-ICT Ticino, took place in a room full of more than one hundred guests. The event was attended by two distinguished guests representing Microsoft Switzerland:Stefano Mallé, CTO of the Swiss branch of the multinational computer company, and Valentina Coria, Artificial Intelligence expert.
Stefano Mallé focused on several topics: from Microsoft’s path to the Cloud, to the fundamental importance of the DevOps model today, to the shift towards an IT-as-Code, where everything is code, up to the announcement of a forthcoming Azure Region in Switzerland, and therefore the possibility of exploiting the potential of the Microsoft Cloud while maintaining data in Swiss territory.
Valentina Coria instead introduced the audience to Artificial Intelligence: what it is, what it means, when it was born, what prospects it opens to companies, illustrating what Microsoft is doing in this area, with some concrete examples.
«We are proud to have given the representatives of the Ticino companies present the opportunity to meet Microsoft directly and to have provided an initial overview of the technologies and solutions that today are available to organizations, in any sector, to support their digital transformation – says Nicola Moresi, CEO of Moresi.com – Our partnership with Microsoft is getting closer and closer and this type of event is part of our commitment to the diffusion of a “digital culture” also in our territory, a goal that we share with Ated”.
