We are pleased to announce that, as of last May, the new photovoltaic system is operational. From now on, it will guarantee clean energy to and to the other companies of the group present in the Melano headquarters.

Thanks to this plant, with a power output of 110kW, we are now able to achieve full energy independence for several consecutive daytime hours, and also to feed into the grid the surplus of electricity generated. On average, more than 60% of the energy we consume over a 24-hour period is now generated by the sun.

We are aware that the data centre industry is one of the most energy-intensive sectors today,” says Nicola Moresi, CEO of, “and that it is therefore urgent to implement concrete actions to reduce its environmental impact. For us, this installation represents the first important milestone in a path of sustainability and “green IT” that we have always pursued, and that will not only allow us to significantly reduce our CO2 emissions, but also to offer our customers services that are based on clean energy, obtained from renewable sources. Last but not least, partial independence will allow us to be less affected by fluctuations in the energy market, without increasing our costs and guaranteeing more competitive prices to our customers.
